DOA: House Conservatives Strike Back at Senate RINOs Who Back ‘Absurd Spending and Empowering of Biden’

It’s your move, Mitch.

To borrow a bit from Queen’s Brian May, “We will, we will block you.”

In a surprise move by a mere 13 House Republicans, an open letter was sent to every Senate Republican detailing that if they vote in favor of the nearly $2 trillion Democrat-backed 2023 budget proposal, expect to be crushed when the GOP takes control of the House.

No… wait. Make that 14 House Republicans.

Even more shocking, soon-to-be Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy also gave his approval to the letter of warning (tweet seen below).

Signed off on by the likes of Reps. Matt Gaetz (Fla.), Chip Roy (Tex.), Andy Biggs (Ariz.) and even one Congresswoman-Elect Anna Paulina Luna (Fla.) have made their threat very clear: Vote with along with Chuckie Schumer, Bernie Sanders and Liz Warren, be prepared to have ANYTHING with your name on it to be Dead On Arrival when it hits the House.

Period, end of story, that’s all she wrote, nada mucho.

The Senate recently voted overwhelmingly to extend the drop-dead date until midnight, this upcoming Friday.

As reported by Wendell Husebø of Breitbart.com (emphasis mine);

Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Scott Perry (R-PA), and Andy Biggs (R-AZ), along with nine other conservatives House members, signed a letter Tuesday promising to block any priorities of the Republican senators who rushed to support the omnibus deal with Democrats just days before Congress leaves town for Christmas.

Rep.-elect Anna Paulina Luna making cargo pants great again.

“Senate Republicans have 41 votes necessary to stop this and should do so now.”

“We are obliged to inform you that if any omnibus passes in the remaining days of this Congress, we will oppose and whip opposition to any legislation priority of those senators who vote for this bill – including the Republican leader,” the members threatened.

The omnibus bill includes $773 billion in domestic spending with $5 billion worth of earmarks and $45 billion for Ukraine’s border defense. The White House only asked for $37 billion for that item, far less than McConnell and Democrats have budgeted in the bill.

On a personal note, it sure is nice to see McCarthy grow a backbone.

Please keep in mind that the $45 billion tagged for Ukraine isn’t being sold to Kiev nor is it a loan guaranteed by any of our (achem) allies, such as Germany, France or the UK.

These billions and billions worth of weapons, ammunition and everything else needed by any given government to wage war is taken directly out of the hands of our troops.

That’s right, from sophisticated anti-air systems to bootlaces to MREs, all that will come out of hide for our own troops.

All this makes about as much sense as cannibalizing our own Strategic Petroleum Reserves to bring down self-imposed skyrocketing gas prices.

No… wait.
