Britain Pays for Just Enough Warfighting to Last Less than Three-Weeks

So, Britain’s ultra-woke Prime Minister Keir Starmer is crowing of a new-found £2.2 billion of taxpayer money. In true woke fashion, all that money is now on its way to the coffers of Volodymir Zelensky.

As noted by the American taxpayer-funded PBS.org, the Starmer government;

… will provide a 2.2 billion pound (nearly $2.7 billion) loan to be paid back from the interest on Russian assets frozen by sanctions.

For a nation jailing their own citizens for Facebook posts and silent praying, it’s somewhat puzzling why Starmer is so interested in “freedom” in in a country on the other side of the continent.

But wait, there’s more.

From FirstPost.com dated November 19, 2024;

According to Roksolana Pidlasa, head of Ukraine parliament’s budget committee, each day of the war costs Kyiv more than $140 million.

One doesn’t have to be a Nostradumbass to figure out that 2.7 billion divided by 140 million rounds up to 19.28.

In other words, all Starmer succeeded in doing is funding an additional two weeks, five days, and eight hours of war.

One other interesting point; IndiaNewsTV.com also cited (emphasis mine);
Ukraine spends most state revenues funding defence and relies on financial aid from Western partners to pay pensions, public sector wages and other social spending. Each day’s fighting costs Kyiv about $140 million, said Roksolana Pidlasa, the head of parliament’s budget committee.
I have a silly question… why are our tax dollars paying for the retirement pensions of Ukrainians? Why are our tax dollars paying for Ukrainian bureaucrats and to keep their welfare programs up and running?
