This just may not have been the hero’s welcome Biden may have expected while visiting areas ravaged by Tropical Storm Ida.
More than a few openly displayed their disdain for Biden with pro-Trump homemade signs, pro-Trump custom flags, and when all else fails, there’s always the middle finger.
As reported by the New York Post;
President Biden on Tuesday traveled to New York and New Jersey to tour areas struck by deadly flooding from Tropical Storm Ida, but he received a hostile welcome from some North Jersey residents who heckled him and flashed middle fingers.
In Manville a man shouted “resign, you tyrant!” as Biden toured a devastated neighborhood. A pool report said the heckler was standing with a Trump flag in his front yard. Reporters positioned between Biden and the irate local said the president did not react to the taunts.
Other pro-Trump protesters had greeted Biden’s motorcade along its route through North Jersey.
Multiple protesters were photographed giving the president a middle finger as he drove from Hillsborough Township to nearby Manville.
One person held a US flag-turned-protest banner that said “F— Biden And F— You For Voting For Him.”
Not done being belittled, Biden then proceeded to make a jackass if himself;
But Biden’s trip also contained confusing moments — including when the president said that the word “tornado” was an antiquated term.
“Looks like a tornado — they don’t call them that anymore — that hit the crops in, and wetlands in, the middle of the country — in Iowa and Nevada and I mean it’s just across the board,” Biden said during a listening session with officials.
