Western Media Yawns – Trump May Be Investigating South African Ties to Iran, Hamas

Was Nelson Mandela REALLY a member of the South African Communist Party? Yes… yes he was.

If the Western media has actually covered the recent allegations that Trump Administration is investigating South Africa’s leftist government of taking bribes from Iran, I must have blinked and missed it.

As it turns out, news services on the other side of the planet are noting that Trump White House just may be looking into South Africa’s communist-inspired African National Congress party… as they should.

As seen in the video report below from India’s WION news network;

The diplomatic tension between the White House and Praetoria seems to be widening. In the latest, founder of the Shurat HaDin-Israel Law Center has claimed that the Trump Administration is probing allegations that African National Congress leaders were bribed by Iran to take Israel to the International Court of Justice [ICJ] for genocide.

In the interview to a South African online business news, the president of Israel Law Center said that a group of 160 lawyers is calling on their American authorities to conduct a probe.

Furthermore, the South African news agency DailyMaverick.co.za is citing;

In January 2024, the ANC – which had been flirting with insolvency for years – announced it had managed to stabilise its finances without explaining how. Just days earlier, South Africa had charged Israel with genocide in Gaza before the ICJ. The timing raised suspicions, and a few commentators opined that Iran had paid off the ANC for taking Israel to court.

On a personal note, regardless if one loves, hates or is indifferent toward the State of Israel, it sure is nice to see the American government target real live Communists.

I’s also like to point out one of the specifics that Pres. Trump noted in his Feb. 7, 2025 executive order regarding the complete cutting-off of US foreign aid to South Africa. Via WhiteHouse.gov;

South Africa has taken aggressive positions towards the United States and its allies, including accusing Israel, not Hamas, of genocide in the International Court of Justice, and reinvigorating its relations with Iran to develop commercial, military, and nuclear arrangements.
