(VIDEO) Trump Administration ‘Reassigns’ FBI Agents who ‘Took the Knee’ for George Floyd

Your tax dollars at work.

Agents who “took the knee” rewarded with a bonus $100 each (NY Post).

Well (insert pregnant pause here), it’s about damn time.

I completely understand that taking on a bureaucracy that’s been in the making for the past 164-years must be of Homeric proportions, so I guess I should cut Team Trump some slack.

But I can’t tell you how happy I am in the knowledge that more than a few federal employees who took it upon themselves to show public support for a guy who spent five-years in prison for assault and armed robbery, as noted by Texas court documents (via TheCourierDaily.com); they just got bounced from the viper’s nest in DC.

And yes… as cited, Floyd did press a pistol into the lower torso of a pregnant woman.

But back to the topic at hand. As cited by reporter Sean Moran of Breitbart.com (emphasis mine);

The FBI reassigned many agents that were photographed kneeling during a 2020 protest after the death of George Floyd.

The reassignments are part of President Donald Trump’s efforts to remove “woke” and other politicized elements from within America’s intelligence community.

I agree with Rep. Matt Gaetz, this is an act of sedition.

Reporter Moran also notes that the reliably Trump-hating CNN made sure they pushed their particular brand of propaganda disguised as honest and objective reporting;

After quickly ousting senior FBI leaders, the Justice Department has said it is reviewing the conduct of more than 1,500 agents associated with cases that have found disfavor in the new Trump era, including investigations of the president and his allies. FBI agents who executed the search warrant on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and who worked on January 6, 2021-related cases have been bracing for possible retribution, current and former agents said.

The kneeling incident in Washington, DC, occurred after a group of agents assigned to protect federal monuments and buildings were confronted by a group of protesters.

Researching this event, something clicked in my brain. I seem to distinctly recall hearing within the past few years that nearly one-third of the entire FBI workforce is stationed right there in the DC area.

Did I find some interesting information.

According to the official FBI website, the total number of employees world-wide is 37,100.

As reported by the Washington Times on Feb. 23, 2025, even back then, the FBI was already telling the world “The FBI is expected to transfer up to 1,500 of its personnel out of its Washington headquarters to field offices across the country, bureau managers learned on Friday.”

As they say on the late-night infomercials: But wait… there’s more.

… 7,500 employees work in the Washington Field Office in Hoover Building alone and that 11,000 FBI employees work in the national capital region.

Eleven thousand out of 37,100 – that’s 29.65 percent. Yep, that’s nearly one-third of the entire FBI.
