Sec. Marco Rubio has never been known as a fire-breather nor a bomb-thrower. Suffice it to say he’s better known for his measured and moderate tone than he is for raising his voice.
Testifying today at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Rubio had the distinct pleasure to cross swords with Sen. Chris Van Hollen. He’s the same Maryland Democrat who flew to El Salvador to sip Margaritas with known MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
I’ll admit I don’t know what exactly it was that stiffened Rubio’s spine, but I’m of the opinion that his Conquistador DNA had simply overtook the rest of his body.
