(VIDEO) NYC Democratic Socialist Vows to Follow Unconstitutional ‘International Law’
The Next mayor of the Big Apple?
This isn’t about the State of Israel, this isn’t about the Israel-Hamas War, this isn’t about Benjamin Netanyahu.
This is about the Ugandan-South African-Indian-American New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. If you’re unfamiliar with this goomba, he’s the ‘Democratic Socialist’ who’s only worked three years of his life, but promising residents of Gotham the world. Of course, at tax-payer expense.
By the way, how does one reconcile being a professed LGBTQ supporter, but also a self-professed ‘Twelver‘ Shia Muslim? I guess he thinks it’s OK to chuck certain people off of rooftops, but can miraculously zip down to street level to catch them before splattering on the pavement?
Anyhow, in a recent interview with ex-MSNBC propagandist Medhi Hasan, the question arose if a Mayor Mamdani would ever welcome Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to New York City.
Perhaps proving just how ignorant he truly is, Mamdani answered;
“New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. Our values are in line with international law…”
Communist Party USA on the march in NYC. Must be something in the water.
Far from me being a constitutional scholar, I do have at least a basic working knowledge of the same. I’m aware that “international law” simply doesn’t have the weight of law on sovereign American soil.
Any UN resolution, any given agreement by two or more foreign nations, any given proclamations by any other international organization… none of those apply to Americans.
That is, of course, with the exception of Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution of the United States of America.
“He [the president] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur…”
To break it down to the truly stupid, the only time “international law” applies to any American on American soil is if a proposed treaty is presented by the POTUS to the US Senate, then the same proposed treaty is approved upon by two-thirds of the Senate.
Maybe this is asking too much of the possible mayor of America’s largest city, but shouldn’t he know what he’s talking about before he opens his mouth?
