Things got all clucked-up…
The everything legal website of LegalUnitedStates.com notes that as of June, 2025, Carnival Cruise Lines have initiated the following rules;
- Zero tolerance for violence, disruptive behavior, and illegal substances
- Curfew for under-18 passengers now rigorously applied
- Lifetime bans for those involved in physical altercations
- Prohibited items list expanded, including all portable speakers
- Increased security presence, including K-9 narcotics unit
Golly, I wonder what prompted all that? Was there a certain demographic in mind? One wonders…
But apparently, these do’s-and-don’ts haven’t sunk in to certain folks on a Miami to the Bahamas cruise within the past few days.

Apparently, quite the riot broke out at roughly 2AM on Aug. 18, 2025, over… wait for it… chicken tenders.
Just me, but I can’t help but wonder if the ship’s captain ever thought to himself, “Knock off the bullshit or I swear, I’ll turn this ship around.”
Regardless of what’s going on in the skipper’s mind, that’s exactly what happened. The remainder of the cruise was cancelled as the ship steamed directly back to the Port of Miami.
Keep in mind, this wasn’t just three or four malcontents looking for a reason to throw fists. This was upwards of two dozen people involved in a riot over fried chicken.
As reported by Anna Young over at the New York Post (emphasis mine);
At one point, Bronx content creator Mike Terra — who filmed the uproar and shared it on his social media channels — flipped the camera to record his own reaction.
“Over chicken tenders is crazy,” Terra said in the video.
Terra captioned his video: “I always hear carnival is ghetto/ratchet I been cruising for years but this my 1st time seeing some action on a ship I was on YNs was tripping.”
