Death of Cancel Culture; Numerous Orgs FIRE Employees Celebrating Death of Charlie Kirk

I never was much of a fan of the so-called “cancel culture.” Especially in light that it was always conservatives losing their jobs, getting “doxed” and seeing their own children threatened with bodily harm (or worse).

But just in case that the roughly 20 percent of the reliably hard-Left haven’t figured it out yet… they aren’t in charge anymore.

In the wake of the political assassination of free speech advocate Charlie Kirk, the Right is finally pushing back.

As reported by WSMV of Nashville, TN, MTSO (Middle Tennessee State University) has fired their Assistant Dean of Students;

Gone… Laura Sosh-Lighty.

Laura Sosh-Lightsy, the now former Assistant Dean at MTSU, shared her thoughts on Kirk’s death online.

“Looks like ol’ Charlie spoke his fate into existence,” she wrote. “Hate begets hate. ZERO sympathy.”

Her post drew pushback, yet she doubled down on her comments.

“Yep. Hate begets hate,” she said. “Still no sympathy. You get back what you put into the world tenfold.”

The NBA’s Phoenix Suns have dumped their team reporter Gerald Bourguet for his X/Twitter comments on the Death of Kirk, as noted by AZcentral.com;

“‘Political differences’ are not the same thing as spewing hateful rhetoric on a daily basis, and refusing to mourn a life devoted to that cause is not the same thing as celebrating gun violence. Just so we’re 100% clear on that.”

The Houston Chronicle is citing that a public-school teacher sending out “posting incendiary remarks” on Facebook;

Goose Creek Consolidated ISD Superintendent Randal O’Brien sent out a memo to staff and families on Thursday addressing an incident involving a teacher’s viral Facebook posts.

Jennifer Courtemanche, a district teacher, wrote on Facebook, “Could this have been the consequences of his actions catching up with him?” She doubled down, writing, “I’ll bet if the victim had been Black or brown or a Democrat influenced, he’d have been singing a different tune.”

“Could Kirk have baited just one too many people?” Courtemanche’s posts concluded.

A number of X users tagged the Panthers on the social media platform with purported screenshots of the post, which featured an image of Kirk and the message, “Why are yall sad? Your man said it was worth it

WMBF of Myrtle Beach SC is reporting that another public-school teacher is no longer employed with an up-state school district;

The Greenville County School District said a high school teacher is no longer employed with the district after having been placed on leave while they investigated an “inappropriate message” on social media.

Wynne Boliek. No longer living off the government teat.

Multiple U.S. lawmakers shared images on X of a Facebook post attributed to Wynne Boliek, which appears to reference the shooting death of Charlie Kirk.

The post states:

“Thoughts and prayers to his children but IMHO America became greater today. There I said it.”

As reported by WJTV of Jackson, MS (via Yahoo News), Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) Chancellor Glenn F. Boyce stated that “a University of Mississippi staff member” is no longer employed with the school.

No indication who the mysterious “staff member” is. However, the Mississippi Clarion Ledger news site has noted;

Social media posts, including from Mississippi State Auditor Shad White, included screencaps of an Instagram post reshared from an account attributed to Lauren Uncapher Stokes that called Kirk a white “supremacist and reimagined Klan member,” among other statements.

One post on X, formerly Twitter, with almost 950,000 views as of Thursday afternoon called for others to make her “famous.”

Stokes was the executive assistant for the vice chancellor at Ole Miss. She and her spouse also run Tarasque Cucina, an Italian restaurant in Oxford.

She is no longer listed among the Ole Miss Development Team online, and her Instagram account is now private.

As of Thursday afternoon, the restaurant’s Facebook page was no longer active. Yelp noted there was irregular activity around the reviews, which were filled with one-star comments about how the restaurant needed to be shut down.

The conservative-leaning news site TownHall.com has sent out the (good) news of MSNBC actually firing one of their most popular analysts, Matthew Dowd, for his patently absurd and moronic comments he stated live, on the air;

The Daily Caller is also reporting that a Department of Defense Education Activity elementary teacher has sent out some rather questionable social media posts;

Kristen Eve, a pre-kindergarten teacher with the Department of Defense Education Activity, writing that while she “feels” for Kirk’s family, “I suspect we are at a point where things are going to have to get ugly, get messy, maybe even get violent, to change this dumpster fire of a country.” She added that boycotts and reminders to vote “IS NOT ENOUGH.”

“And excuse my language, but fuck the high road,” Eve continued. “I am tired of having to be the bigger person while the other side destroys the world to line the pockets of CEOs and oligarchs. Charlie Kirk recently said that he thought gun violence victims and mass shooter victims are a reasonable price to pay for the 2nd Amendment. Fuck that guy. Ironic, isn’t it?”
