Nine Times Israel Accepted ‘Two-State Solution’; Nine Times Arabs Rejected

It’s official: Canada, Australia, the UK, and Portugal just yesterday recognized a Palestinian state, as reported by EpochTimes.com. Word in the street is that France and New Zealand will follow suit within days.

How the aforementioned nations conduct their foreign policy is their call, but that little voice in my head is telling me the main reason those governments did this was to placate a certain (and very violent) demographic all those particular nations have purposely imported to their perspective nations.

Nonetheless, as it’s often said in the American South, “I don’t have a dog in this fight.” I really want to look into the Arab-Israeli conflict in an objective and fair fashion.

Those orange dots were what the Jews were offered in 1947, and they were perfectly happy with that. But the Moslems weren’t.

I have no familial ties to the Jewish people. I’ve traced some of the branches of my family tree as far back as the late 1400’s. Nary a single Shlomo, Rivka, Chaim or Elisheva.

Being a Traditional Catholic, I certainly don’t have any religious allegiances to Judaism, unlike the… oh, let’s say the so-called “Messianic Jews,” who we all know are just Protestants playing Hebrew Dress-Up.

The tag of American citizen is the proudest secular title I could ever want, so no political allegiance to the State of Israel.

I’m not exactly pleased with the amount of US foreign aid pumped to the Jerusalem government, as well as VERY MUCH asking why so many American politicians take tons of money from AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee).

But with all that out of the way, I’ve done some digging into the Arab-Israeli conflict of almost the past century.

I’ve found some very interesting facts that most of the world chooses to ignore.

1948 – UN Partition Plan. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

1979 – The Camp David Accords. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

1993 – The Oslo Accords. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

1994 – Agreement on the Gaza Strip & the Jericho Area. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

1995 – Israeli-Palestinian Interim Agreement (Oslo II). Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

1999 – Wye River Memorandum. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

1999 – Sharm el-Sheikh Memorandum. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

2019 – Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

2020 – Peace to Prosperity. Israel accepted a two-state solution. The Arabs rejected.

Keep in mind, it was in 637 AD that the Moslem armies out of the Arabian Peninsula laid siege to, then eventually conquered the Byzantine Christian city of Jerusalem.

In spite of the Jewish Diaspora of the 1st and 2nd Centuries, as well as large numbers of Greek, Roman and Egyptian Christians and Jewish converts to Christianity, there were still thousands upon thousands of observant Jews living in the Holy Land.

With the Palestinians consistently claiming they’ve been ‘colonized’ by the Jews, who really colonized who?
