The kookie cackler is at it again. As seen in the videos below, she’s claiming last year’s presidential election was “The closest election for President of the United States in the 21st Century.”
Sadly for her, Harris doesn’t know her history, and she certainly doesn’t know her basic civics.
As clearly cited in our Constitution, it’s the Electoral College that elects our president, not the popular vote.
The closest constitutionally binding results this century was the 2000 Bush vs. Gore Electoral College results with a five electoral vote difference in favor of Bush.
The closest feel good results in this century was (again) the 2000 Bush vs Gore popular vote results with a 543,895 ballots cast difference in favor of Gore.
But if Harris wants to be hyper-technical about it, the popular vote between Bush and Gore was on Nov 7, 2000. As we all know, the year 2000 was the LAST year of the 20th Century (there simply was no Year 0.

Guess what… she’s still wrong. I can only guess that Politico.com published this through clenched teeth, “Congress certifies Bush as winner of 2000 election, Jan. 6, 2001”.
That’s right. No presidential election is official until Congress certifies the Electoral College results. As previously cited, Bush was declared the winner over Gore on Jan. 6, 2001.
Last time I checked, 2001 was in the 21st Century.
Interestingly enough, not a single “journalists” gave Harris anything even approximating pushback at any time of her voicing her fraudulent claims.
All the below information, I found in after about 10 seconds per election. I’m not even a professional journalist. Are they?
