Washington Post Finally Admits It; the Affordable Care Act was Never Really Affordable

Not a shocker. It really was a lie all along…

Back in 1990, when people really did read newspapers and magazines, I remember for a very brief moment the breaking news that Sen. Joe McCarthy (R-WI) really was right.

Vindicated, but only after the Deep State crushed him.

In spite of what the school systems, the media, Hollywood and the government have shoved down our throats for decades, “Tail-Gunner” Joe actually nailed it when he claimed that Communists and Communist-sympathizers were rife in our federal government.

Like I said, the media back in ’90 did make reports vindicating Sen. McCarthy publicly… for about half-an-hour. If you’d like a couple of examples, here’s one from the LA Times, and another from the Orlando Sentinel.

But back to the topic at hand; it only took them 15 years, but the Washington Post finally got around to admitting that Obama Care was and still is a disaster.

As noted by The Washington Post (emphasis mine);

The real problem is that the Affordable Care Act was never actually affordable. President Barack Obama’s signature achievement allowed people to buy insurance on marketplaces with subsidies based on their income. The architects of the program assumed that risk pools would be bigger than they turned out to be. As a result, policies cost more than expected .
