I’m sure that many of you remember just a few years ago the ongoing saga of Rep. George Santos (R-NY).
For those that don’t, he’s the Congressman who was literally forced out of the House of Representatives for being ACCUSED of artificially pumping up his résumé.

Golly gee. Kind of like how Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) is really a Vietnam veteran, huh? Or how Joe Biden actually awarded the Purple Heart medal to a long-dead uncle. Or how Bill Clinton never lied under oath (AKA: “Perjury“) regarding Monica Lewinsky.

If there was ever a Democrat/RINO hit job against a MAGA Republican… this was it. But back to the topic at hand.

As reported by the MAGA-hating, RINO-loving Politico.com (emphasis mine);

Some House Republicans joined every Democrat in voting to sink an effort to censure Rep. LaMonica McIver over her involvement in a chaotic May scuffle outside an immigration detention center.

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) forced the vote to formally reprimand McIver and remove her from her position on the House Homeland Security Committee, a handful of his GOP colleagues had little appetite for moving forward with the punishment.

Five Republicans — Reps. Don Bacon and Mike Flood of Nebraska, Dave Joyce and Mike Turner of Ohio and David Valadao of California — joined every Democrat in voting to table the measure, while two Republicans — Reps. Andrew Garbarino of New York and Nathaniel Moran of Texas — voted present.

A spokesperson for Turner said after the vote the Ohio Republican inadvertently voted to kill McIver’s censure; the incorrect vote did not change the outcome.

For his part, as reported by KPLC of Lake Charles, LA, Rep. Clay Higgins (MAGA R-LA) has resigned in protest for the recent election of Rep. Andrew Garbarino (RINO-NY) as the Chairman of the House Homeland Security committee;
