Decriminalizing Crime; Just When You Thought California Couldn’t Get Any Nuttier

When you find out that public defecation and urination are now lawfully protected rights, you thought that was the lowest the crazies in California couldn’t stoop any lower.

Then we find out that open theft at grocery and department stores is also legal, just as long as the total of stolen goods is under $950.

But nothing could possibly top California borrowing billions to keep government healthcare rolling along, right? Oops, I forgot to add that these billions are not only for legitimate residents of the Golden State, but also for millions of illegal aliens sucking off of the California taxpayers.

If you honestly thought these vapid clowns couldn’t do any further harm to their own people… it just became time to guess again.

As reporter Floyd Buford of the DailyCaller.com is noting (emphasis mine);

A Democratic lawmaker in California is pushing legislation that would decriminalize most welfare fraud.

State Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas recently introduced SB 560, a bill that would eliminate criminal penalties for instances of welfare fraud involving less than $25,000.

Welfare fraud in California is regularly reported but rarely prosecuted, according to data from the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). In Los Angeles County alone, investigators identified fraud in more than 5,000 cases, but only referred about 200 of them to the local district attorney’s office for prosecution.

Federal law enforcement has tried to fill the void left by state prosecutors. Earlier this year, multiple federal agencies busted five foreign nationals in Los Angeles who were using counterfeit EBT cards to steal from poor families. The Department of Justice (DOJ) said $181 million had been stolen from EBT beneficiaries in California between 2022-2024, and the victims are usually “low-income families who depend on EBT benefits to buy food and other household necessities.” Last year, DOJ arrested seven foreign nationals in San Diego for the same crime.

There was a time when conservatives and liberals use to be able to actually sit and discuss their differences without resorting to keying swastikas onto your car or setting fire to your neighborhood.

But with the glory days of Generation Trophy hopefully behind us, I fear that the damage is done.

Yesterday’s liberals raised an entire generation of brats that actually believe that screaming into the face of who disagrees with you is proper conduct for an adult.

Word on the street is that Pres. Trump’s possible plan to encourage the restoration of the American family has the hard-Left in a screeching panic.

The Trump administration is considering how it might encourage more Americans to have children, and progressives aren’t happy about it. This means they have to throw every argument – no matter how silly – against the initiative.

The closest John Casey will ever come to parenthood.

The Advocate’s John Casey penned an op-ed in which he claimed this idea is authoritarian and dangerous and a threat to members of the LGBTQ community and women who don’t want to live in a real-life version of the left’s favorite television show: “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

The New York Times published a report about how the Trump administration is looking at a sweeping cultural shift by endorsing pro-nationalist policies aimed at reversing America’s declining birth rates. The administration is reportedly considering a myriad of ideas, including reserving 30 percent of Fulbright scholarships for married applicants or parents, awarding a $5,000 “baby bonus” per child, and funding fertility-awareness education for women.

However, critics like Casey suggest this initiative would exclude non-traditional families. In his op-ed, he refers to the idea as “a dystopian unveiling of a pro-natalist agenda that social conservatives have been carefully constructing brick by brick, headline by headline.”

He [John Casey] further argues that “the federal government is coming for your bedroom, your uterus, and your right to choose if, when, and how to have children – and sex.”

Unfortunately, certain men in this country seem to be under the soft-headed notion that a moral compass is synonymous with whichever direction their own feces-entrusted erection happens to point to.

Thankfully, men like John Casey look upon the act of human reproduction with disgust.
