Color Me Skeptical: Lab-Grown Meat Gets Government and Media Approval

Slap me a couple of those Petri dishes in the grill.

I’ve just learned a new phrase today – immortalized cells. 

As it turns out, normal human and animal cells die-out in a lab after dividing themselves just a few dozen times (something called “senescence“).

That’s where Big-Pharma needs something called the aforementioned immortalized cells.

But before I go any further, know that the Biden government as well as the Associated Press have given this FrankenFood a hearty two-thumbs up.

Golly gee. I don’t know about you, but that makes me feel a damn sight better.

But on with the show.

In spite of reporter Joe Fassler of Bloomberg News (via TheFern.org) giving an overall approval to lab-grown meat, he at least gave the other side of the coin a look (emphasis mine);

“Despite the informal scientific consensus around the safety of immortalized cells, there just aren’t any long-term health studies to prove it.”

Fassler dances around what exactly immortalized cells are for a few paragraphs, then tip-toes ever so gingerly telling us exactly what they are;

That’s where immortalized cells come in. They’ve been used in medical research since the early 1950s, when the first and most famous immortal cell line—derived from the cervical cancer cells of a woman named Henrietta Lacks—was successfully grown in a lab. Lacks is widely viewed as a victim of failed medical ethics and systemic racism; her cells, which have gone on to generate billions of dollars in economic value, were taken without her knowledge or permission.

Blah, blah, blah… yadda, yadda, yadda. Then Fassler conveniently blows through telling us everything;

They’ve also saved lives. The so-called HeLa line of cells first enabled researchers to continue study without fresh samples from living humans or animals, leading to breakthrough discoveries in oncological and immunological science. Today, AstraZeneca Plc and J&J’s Covid-19 vaccines are grown using immortalized human kidney and retinal cells, respectively. The process is a lot like making cultured meat. Immortal cells are grown in a big steel drum called a bioreactor, ultimately generating thousands of pounds of cell mass.

But wait. Did Fassler say if the immortalized human kidney and retinal cells were cancerous or not?

Joe, what exactly were the starter cells used in that “big steel drum called a bioreactor”? He certainly has implied that the only “immortalized cells” are cancer cells.

This is where it starts to give you the heebie-jeebies;

“The leading startups, for their part, are pressing ahead, nodding to their potential vulnerability with the occasional creepy waiver. At Upside’s facility in Emeryville, California, where the company spends weeks at a time growing poultry cells in drums, investors and pesky reporters tasting a cooked version of the final product have been asked to first acknowledge the lack of long-term health data. “The cultured meat and related food products in the Tasting are experimental,” the company’s waiver reads. “The properties are not completely known.”

Now it really gets uber-heebie-jeebie;

“And yet “cancer” is a terrifying word. How can the makers of cultured meat prove to regulators and skeptics that there’s nothing to worry about? “The best way is to give it to people and then ask them 20 years later or 30 years later, ‘Has any of you gotten cancer at a higher-than-normal rate?’ ” says Robert Weinberg [of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology]. “But that’s not a practical experiment.”

Folks, just as soon as the Biden Administration and the AP gave this their official seal of approval, the “practical experiment” just began.

As I recently posted, 27-year-old Eva Vlaadingerbroek has emerged as quite the populist voice in the Netherlands. It goes without saying that the leftist Dutch government hates everything about her and everything she stands for.

As seen in the somewhat dated tweet below, Vlaadingerbroek was hammered by a government media network, insinuating that she was posing with a few bottles of white milk… supposedly a dog-whistle for right-wing extremists;

The Dutch government’s tweet links to an article from the state-funded NPO 3 TV network’s article that clearly states;

“Cow’s milk turned out to be a popular symbol for white supremacy, the belief that white people are superior to others and must dominate them.”

But wait… there’s more.

The government’s schill, NPO 3 (Nederlandse Publieke Omroep drie), goes on to say (with a straight face); Emphasis mine

The choice of milk as a racist symbol does not come out of the blue. According to Willem Wagenaar, who conducts research for the Anne Frank House into right-wing extremism, drinking milk expresses the idea of a collective, white connectedness. “People of European descent talk about the generally more likely to have a physical tolerance to lactose than people with another background,” he explains. “That fact is used to describe the us-them thinking, that is a central theme within the ideology.”

The peculiar pride of being able to dairy; Digestion has a long history, according to scientific research. In the first decades of the last century, a period when many Westerners were fascinated by eugenics or ‘race improvement’, the lactose intolerance of certain population groups was already cited to demonstrate their alleged inferiority. Thus, East Asians were derogatorily referred to as “rice eaters” who are said to be weak and feminine due to their lack of meat and dairy consumption.

(VIDEO) Globalist Dutch Government Collapses; Conservative Pro-Farmer’s Party ‘Threatens to Upend Establishment’

For those of us who do follow conservative politics, most of us are aware of the peasant uprising The Netherlands. Not only have Dutch farmers had enough of a Globalist leftie central government, they’ve already formed their own political party.

From the looks of things, it certainly appears that this particular party is in the catbird seat for taking the leadership of the Dutch government.

As it turns out, the very left-leaning coalition government of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is imploding upon itself. As reported by Breitbart.com, Rutte has just submitted his resignation to King Willem-Alexander.

Kurt Zindulka of Breitbart also notes;

“The alleged dispute that forced the cabinet to collapse came over calls from Rutte’s neo-liberal People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) to cut migration and increase restrictions on family reunification of asylum seekers in The Netherlands, a move that the more pro-mass migration coalition partner D66 and ChristenUnie parties could not accept.”

“The collapse of the government comes as asylum applications to the country increased by a third in 2022 to 46,000 and projections expect over 70,000 more to come this year, the most since the 2015 European Migrant Crisis under a previous Rutte government.”

The Farmer–Citizen Movement (Dutch: BoerBurgerBeweging, BBB) is not only the majority party in the Dutch Senate, but has also shown itself to be quite the powerhouse in many Dutch provinces.

As Zindulka cites, not only could the BBB “up-end the establishment,” but national elections that could take place as soon as November, see a BBB government running the government.

Nonetheless, out-going PM Rutte is still kowtowing to the European Union and vowing to crush Dutch farmers, see tweet below;

Reporter Zindulka also quotes Dutch political commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek responding to the collapse of the Rutte government;

“I think the actual fall of the cabinet itself is all for show. The ‘disagreement’ about immigration that they’re mentioning as the deciding factor, is not the real issue, because all government parties are in favour of more mass migration, including Mark Rutte’s VVD.”

“Rutte just seems to think that he can trick the Dutch people into believing that he actually wants a stricter immigration policy this time around, and he thinks he can get re-elected again if he makes these false new promises.

Showing her true colors.

“Do not fall for it. We cannot let him win again.”

It was on April 2022, while speaking before the Brussels National Conservatism Conference in Brussels (see first video below), Vlaardingerbroek called on her fellow Europeans to “reject Globalism and embrace God.”

In an interview with the conservative NationalCatholicRegister.com from 23 April, 2023, Vlaardingerbroek plainly stated, possibly borrowing from Hillary Clinton (emphasis mine);

“I make it my mission to stand up for conservative values, freedom and people’s rights. I make it my mission to stand up for ordinary people who are deemed invisible by the establishment. It pains me to see how people struggle in our society and are branded as deplorables by our global elites. That’s not what Christ teaches us.”
