Italy’s New Conservative Prime Minister Slams Door in Faces of Professional Welfare Recipients

I love me some Giorgia Meloni. No matter how much the Western media hates her, I love this gal. I’ll even go so far as that I wished she was ours.
But first, let it be known that I consider welfare, government payments (whatever you want to call it), certainly are needed.
Yet allow me to add the following; I understand and agree with the government having at least some type of financial security-net for those who’ve fallen on hard times through no fault of their own.
Sadly, more than a few look upon government assistance not as a temporary state, but as a life goal.
Enter Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. In a breaking story, the PM has dropped a political bombshell aimed directly at Italy’s socialist-minded advocates and politicians.
As a favor to everyone, reporter Alessandra Scotto Di Santolo of Britain’s Express.co.uk breaks down things much better than I could ever hope (emphasis mine);

Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni presented the government’s first economic policy initiatives Tuesday, announcing €21 billion in budget tweaks that would be used to help industry and families cope with soaring energy prices.

The Italian Prime Minister has announced a major overhaul of Italy’s economy signalling a shift from previous governments on state benefits. Giorgia Meloni’s plan includes a phase-out by the end of next year of the so-called “citizens’ wage,” the crowning achievement of the 5-Star Movement, which was in power from 2018-2021.

Ms Meloni had vowed to abolish the expanded welfare programme altogether during the campaign, arguing that it encouraged people to stay on welfare when they could work and was abused by fraudsters.

The changes announced on Tuesday would knock eligible workers out of the system after eight months or after they refuse a job offer, and requires recipients to actually live in Italy.

The overall budget modifications show a clear political shift, doing away with a basic income and a decade-old pension reform that Ms Meloni and her right-wing allies have long attacked while coming up with new measures to promote Italy’s perennially low birth rate.

(VIDEO) Gridiron Joe Caught in Yet Another Lie

 

When Joe Biden was asked his thoughts of the House Republicans set investigate to the figurative tons of evidence linking Biden to various crimes ranging from influence peddling to international human trafficking (otherwise known as “The slave trade), the best answer Biden could muster was (as seen in the video below);

“‘Lots of luck in your senior year’ as my coach use to say.”

What coach? The tiddley-winks coach? The hopscotch coach?

While his history of athletic achievement prior to becoming a Delaware Fighting Blue Hen is pretty much a self-imposed rarity, Joe has relegated to anyone who would listen of his gridiron prowess at the U of D.

The only problem? Joe was never on the varsity team. The closest he ever made it to football glory was as a member of the JV, back then known as “The freshman team.”

As reported by the New York Post (emphasis mine);

Biden, in a speech in Syracuse, N.Y., told a story about where he met his first wife, the late Neilia Hunter Biden, and alleged he quit the football team at the University of Delaware to be with her.

“I married a beautiful woman from Skaneateles Lake,” Biden said of Neilia Hunter. “I met her on spring break and fell head over heels in love with her and gave up a starting job on the football team in Delaware to come up … every weekend because I couldn’t stay away.”

Biden wrote in his memoir, “Promises to Keep,” in 2008 that he quit football after the fall season in 1963 to focus on his studies. According to the Daily Pennsylvanian, he had a 1.9 GPA at the time.

According to the paper, Biden tried to make the team his junior year but decided to pursue Neilia instead.

Biden had also mentioned in a 2012 campaign stop that he was on the Delaware team as a freshman in 1963 when the Blue Hens topped the Ohio Bobcats.

The University of Delaware told the Huffington Post in 2012 that Biden didn’t play in that game and, according to the Daily Pennsylvanian, prior to 1972 freshmen were only allowed to play on freshmen teams.

The Signs of a Brewing Civil War; Report That 1-in-179 Americans Will be Murdered

To say that America is falling apart is a massive understatement. The national economy’s a wreck. Anyone who’s paid for gas and groceries in the past year-and-a-half knows exactly what I’m talking about.
And it’s not confined to our borders. On the world scene, our allies no longer trust us and our enemies sure as hell aren’t afraid of us.
But in spite of the ever-decreasing buying power of the US dollar, there’s a new sign of the very possible shape of things to come.
Turns out that if things don’t change really soon, the chances of one in every 179 Americans will be the victims of murder will no longer be just mere conjecture, but fact.
As reported by Emma Colton of Fox News (emphasis mine);

A study examining murders in 2021 based on death certificate data projects that one out 179 Americans will eventually be murdered over the course of their lifetimes if the country’s murder rate remains at 2021 levels.

“That means if you’re in the United States, you live here, you’re born and you spend your life here, your odds of your life ending by murder are one in 179 over your life. Not over a year or any other timeframe.”

“It’s just somebody’s gonna murder you before you die of natural causes, an accident, suicide, whatever it may be,” Jim Agresti, president and co-founder of Just Facts, a nonprofit research institute, told Fox News Digital. Agresti also authored the study.

Just Facts undertook a massive project to examine how many people were murdered in 2021 after weeks of news outlets and experts reporting there is no definitive figure for 2021 murders due to newly-released FBI data for that year being incomplete and based on estimates.

The FBI switched to a new recording program at the start of 2021 called the National Incident-Based Reporting System that aims to provide a more thorough snapshot of offenses, such as what weapons were used in an incident, types of property stolen and more detailed demographic information on victims and perpetrators of crimes.

But nearly 40% of police departments nationwide did not provide complete data on 2021 crime to the FBI by the March deadline of this year.
